Wednesday Morning Speaker & Breakout Sessions

 Dr. Matson is a sixth-generation heir of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. He earned his Ph.D. (Biblical Studies) from Baylor University and taught Bible at Bluefield College(West Virginia), Milligan University (Tennessee), and his alma mater, Pacific Christian College (Hope International University).He has published books and numerous journal articles in the field of New Testament studies and has preached in churches in California, Tennessee, Texas, Virgina, and the Philippines. He has a deep concern for gospel clarity and teaching the scriptures in full assurance of faith, reflecting his motto: “to inform and inspire.” He is married to the love of his life, Mary, and has three grown children. He spends his free time walking and riding his bike at the beach and doting on his four grandchildren: Teagan, Landon, and his little Filipinas, Summer and Julianne. This past summer he taught a course at Manila Bible Seminary where he became a true Filipino by eating balut!

Pastor Bill Dogterom (D.Min.) is \Professor of Pastoral Ministries and Spiritual Formation at Vanguard University, a position at which he has served full time since 2000, seeking to support women and men in lifetime ministry regardless of their vocation. In addition to his formal seminary education, he has trained as a spiritual director and brings over 45 years of local church ministry in pastoral roles to his ministry in the classroom, and in spiritual formation and direction. Bill and Judy have three sons and daughters-in-law, and two grand-daughters.

Thursday Morning Speaker & Breakout Sessions

Pastor Matt Skrabec, lead pastor at First Baptist Church in Benicia, CA, is passionate about God’s word, gospel-centered living, and equipping believers to navigate today’s culture with grace and truth. Matt graduated from Denver Seminary with his MDiv and has served in leadership in the local church since 2012. Previously he was involved in student leadership with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at Sonoma State University. Matt and his wife Amber have two children, Zoe and Shepherd, and a flock of baby chickens at their home in Benicia. 

Thursday Evening Speaker & Breakout Sessions

Dr. Joe is in his 37rd year at Pacific Christian College of Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. He was chairman of the Church Ministry Department for over fifteen years. Joe was appointed Dean of Pacific Christian College of Ministry & Biblical Studies June 1, 2010 and Special Assistant to the President June 1, 2020. Joe served as Founding Senior Pastor of Southwest Christian Church in Temecula from November, 1993 until July, 1997. He has also been interim pastor at churches in Long Beach, Anaheim, Spring Valley, Lawndale, Downey, San Juan Capistrano, El Cajon, Escondido, Rancho Santa Margarita and University Christian Church of Los Angeles. Since December,2019 Joe has been a Teaching Pastor at The Refinery Christian Church of Goodyear, AZ.

Bill and Jill Krause have been married for 34 years and are parents to four children and
three grandchildren. Bill has served in family ministry for 35 years, helping families
rediscover God’s design for their homes. He currently serves at Real Life Ministries in
Post Falls, Idaho, and has taught Family Ministries in Bible college and ministry
leadership roles.

Jeff loves to invest in those who then get to invest in others for kingdom impact! Jeff has been in ministry for 31 years and has worked with students, families, groups, and executive leadership through pastoral ministry, coaching, and consulting. He currently lives in Vallejo, Ca.  Jeff is passionate about getting a glimpse of the eternal through the lives of the people he works with who passionately seek out Christ in their lives on a daily basis.  Jeff has his Master’s Degree from Western Seminary in Evangelism and Equipping. He and his wife of 24 years, Shara, have three children: Jackson (19), Isabella (17), and Charlotte (15).
