The Filipino-American Christian Convention (FACC) was established to cultivate Christian fellowship among Filipino and American believers in the U.S. with a mission to bring people together and deepen their faith. The convention gathers every two years to provide encouragement through inspiring worship services and workshops. Its origins trace back to the leaders of the California Christian Mission to the Philippines (CCMP). Since its inception in 1982, FACC has continued to meet biennially in various locations across the United States, fostering lasting connections within the Christian community.

MEET YOUR CONVENTION PRESIDENT

Arne is the son of Ignacio and Dinah Alava, and the grandson of Bro. Diego and Sis. Maria Romulo. Arne grew up in Fullerton, CA where his family was very involved in CCMP (California Christian Mission to the Philippines) and his parents were part of early years of planning FACC.

Arne and Trish have been married for 29 years and they reside in Benicia CA. They both graduated from Hope International University and have been involved in ministry in several positions in various church denominations. They have four children and a son-in-law who are all followers of Jesus and involved in ministry.
